blessings

So, Spring Break is next week...How did that happen? That means that February, the busiest month on the ACU campus is almost over. Some amazing things have happened in this month. The whole TMEA experience was incredible. To play on that stage in San Antonio was an emotionally spiritual event that is 100% credited to the glory of God.
" ...we will in all things grow up into Him who is the Head, that is Christ. From Him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds intself up in love, as each part does its work." ~Ephesians 4:15,16
After playing those songs over and over again for 2 months, it was bittersweet to play them for the last time during our lectureship concert. The Bach chorale we played/sang almost made me cry. (again) The words to that song are so powerful:
Who puts his trust in God most just
Hath built his house securely
He who relies on Jesus Christ
Shall reach his heaven most surely
Then fixed on Thee, my trust shall be
For thy truth cannot alter
While mine thou art
Not death's worst smart
Shall make my courage falter
Sing Song has also come and gone. It too was a huge blessing with all credit given to God's glory. Alpha kai Omega worked hard, praised God, had fun, and loved every minute. And apparently it showed. The audience loved us, and for the first time in club history we placed first in the Presentation category. We were Thrilled!
I read all of these verses/excerpts one night earlier this week. God has been challenging a lot of things in my life in the past few weeks, calling me to a life of holiness.
The word Holy means "to separate". It comes from an ancient word meaning "to cut". To be holy, then, is to be a cut above the norm, superior, extraordinary... ~Max Lucado
"Offer your bodies as living sacrifices, HOLY and pleasing to God - this is your spiritual act of worship.
Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.
Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is - His good, pleasing and perfect will." Romans 12:1,2
"Just as He who called you is HOLY, so be HOLY in all you do; for it is written: "Be HOLY, because I AM HOLY." 1 Peter 1:15,16
Be blessed.
